Pavilion Park's Youngest Residents Find Their Inner Artist

Twenty-four of Pavilion Parks youngest residents showed off their artistic side at a three-day Art Camp held over winter break. Laughter and tiny voices filled the air as the young artists got to work. Ranging from kindergarten to second grade, the mini Picassos created nature imprints, tree designs, free-form abstract drawings, self-portraits and more.

Oh, What Fun it is to Ride - Holiday Bike Drive

For more than five years, Great Park Neighborhoods has collected nearly 1,000 bikes at its annual Holiday Bike Drive. The tradition continues this year and you are invited to help us reach our goal of 500 bikes. All new and gently-used donated bicycles will be distributed to non-profit organizations that are devoted to improving the lives of children and families in need in Orange County, including Families Forward, Riverside Charitable, OC Community Housing Corporation and OC Rescue Mission.

With trumpets blaring and drums booming, Northwood High Schools marching band energized the crowd as the Irvine Unified School District Board of Education, local dignitaries and members of the public gathered for a ceremonial groundbreaking for Portola High School Irvines highly anticipated fifth high school. More than 200 people witnessed the milestone that took place on what will be home base of the high schools future baseball diamond.
